Pelindo III Recognized as the Best Company Providing Social Security Services

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) III won first place in the Paritrana Award from Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Humanity as an appreciation for its best social security services for all employees and partners.

Pelindo III is the only state-owned enterprise (BUMN) to receive the award, beating 660,000 medium and large scale companies.

The award was handed over directly by Vice President KH. Ma'ruf Amin to Pelindo III President Director U Saefudin Noer, accompanied by Minister of Manpower Ida Fauzia and Coordinating Minister for PMK Muhajir Effendy virtually, Wednesday (12/8).

In his remarks, Vice President appreciated Pelindo III as one of the SOEs that pays attention to social security for its employees. Vice President then asked Pelindo III to keep maintain this achievement and increase it as one of the rights that every employee has.

"Congratulations to the winners of the Paritrana Award, with their respective roles in contributing to supporting various social welfare protection programs in various regions according to their respective duties and responsibilities," Ma'ruf Amin stated.

Pelindo III President Director U Saefudin Noer said the Paritrana Award was an implementation of BUMN core values, namely the mandate to ensure the best service.

"Providing the best service is not only for business partners but also for employees through social security as well as a form of loyalty to the state to support the government, especially in the manpower sector," he said in Surabaya, Thursday (13/8).

So far, Saefudin continued, Pelindo III has been consistent and determined to implement social security for all employees, business partners, and loading and unloading workers (TKBM). For example, requiring all partners to take part in the social security program as a condition for compulsory cooperation.

"The Paritrana Award that we received is a bonus for this seriousness," he said.
