PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I, II, III and IV (Persero) synergize a subsidiary engaged in the equipment maintenance business through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday (26 February 2021).
The subsidiaries of the four state-owned companies are PT Prima Multi Equipment (PMP), PT Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI), PT Berkah Industri Lift Machines (BIMA) and PT Equiport Inti Indonesia.
"Pelindo I, II, III and IV have similar business models, so that in best practice it is possible to achieve standardization, both business models and business processes. This MoU is a concrete effort to synergize programs among BUMNs and their subsidiaries," Ari Santoso, IPC Corporate Secretariat, said in a press statement.
IPC assesses that this synergy is the first step to actively help each other in providing added value to each parent, so that costs will be reduced gradually and can achieve efficiency figures, both in optimal equipment operation and maintenance, and is expected to increase equipment readiness.
"Apart from being efficient in terms of operating or maintaining equipment, this synergy will have an impact on the optimization of operational services for service users. We hope that a concrete follow-up can be done immediately," Ari added.said being the one previously mentioned or spoken of More (Definitions, Synonyms, Translation) (hlz/hlz)
